One Step At A Time: Team Kozar
For Rosaria, family is the most fundamental part of her life. One of Rosaria’s sons, Broderick ‘Brody,’ was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. This placed Rosaria’s professional career of 10 years, teaching special needs children, on hold. At the time, Rosaria was paralyzed by fear and heartbreak. Brody was a bright and loving little boy. He faced his treatment with bravery and courage that no three-year-old should ever need – his little body succumbed to the disease in 2015. The lessons and legacy of Brody will live forever in all those touched by childhood cancer. He is the inspiration for all her work.
She walks with him this year and for all children like him. As she carries his ashes in her sac, she will push herself to the limits to meet the goal. Her hope is by honoring Brody, and she will raise funds to meet her goal as a donation that helps the amazing Why Me: Sherry’s House provide services for both of her sons and the entire family. If you believe in helping children that are warriors, then please donate; let’s make this happen.
